@HomerGlick @JudyReardon No, it doesn't. Not voting for 2 people expresses that the voter finds them equally bad, which is often not the case. Ranked choice voting allows for for a fuller expression of the exact order of preference voters have for all the candidates besides just the top one

@HomerGlick @JudyReardon If I lived in #ME02, w/plurality voting, I woulda voted for Jared Golden, which woulda implied I thought Tiffany Bond & Bruce Poliquin were equally bad. They're not. With RCV tho, I woulda put Tiffany 1st, bc I'd be secure in knowing I could still rank Jared ahead of Bruce
