  1. Saw #DetectivePikachu tonight. Whoa, twists! Justice Smith gave a great performance! My main thing I would've done different would've been to give Ikue Otani's classic #PikaPika voice a bit more time; Ryan Reynolds got a bit annoying at times & shouldn't've been audible

      I mean, the whole conceit is that only Tim can hear his human voice, right? There were scenes shot from the perspective of characters other than Tim and yet Pikachu was still talking like a human. Sound editing should've been more tightly keyed to cuts between perspectives
