      1. People giving the "humanitarian intervention" or "regime change" arguments for why we should #InvadeBrazil are keeping their arguments too weak. Just go for the big one: burning the Amazon is aggression, and stopping this aggression is self-defense.

      HI/RC justifications are much more easily debatable under Just War theory. Responding to aggression, OTOH, is almost universally accepted as a valid cause for waging war. And committing ecocide is in fact aggression: without a livable climate, we all die.

    So, let's keep this simple: Brazil is attacking us by attacking our environment with their burning of the Amazon. The only way to defend ourselves from these attacks is to #InvadeBrazil and stop the fires.
