      - Kamala's line about "just being observant" was well-received - It was good to hear Castro and Gabbard open to UBI; they might be able to pick up some Yang voters if they get more full-throated in their endorsement of it

    - Warren is right that SSI kinda acts like our current substitute for UBI, but we need to do more than just expand it as she proposes: we also need to remove some of the conditions on it, such as the $2,000 bank account balance limit.

...there's no point in increasing SSI payments if you can't keep the full amount on-hand available for spending at any one time. - Castro's juxtaposition of caging kids at the border to uncaging ISIS was well-received - People liked Booker's "dumpster fire" line

        - People laughed at Biden's "expedentially" gaffe - It was odd that Tulsi was the one they went to for the younger side of the age question; usually they go with Pete for that… - Kamala's attempt to try to make banning Trump from Twitter was just… wtf was she doing. Good grief.

          - the only squares on my "Climate Change mentions" bingo card supplied by the @LCVoters I was able to cross off came from things Tom Steyer mentioned, which... well, it really sucks that I have to grant him those points, because I still don't trust him overall.

...take the question about billionaires, for instance. Sure, Steyer SAID the right things about what we SHOULD do about billionaires in the future as a country, but he failed to address the role he played in the system that got us here by becoming a billionaire himself.

...anyways, yeah. I still don't trust Steyer.

                - So yeah, those're my #DemocraticDebate notes; it didn't really change much in my mind overall, except maybe to put Castro back in my top 5 like he was before… (I'd dropped him prev'ly after finding out Bernie had a better housing plan, but now that he's considering UBI, too…)
