      @rcdrun @CarlosODonell @gnutools ...GNU is extremely political; wtf are you talking about. Software freedom is a political cause set in opposition to makers of proprietary software. It depends on copyleft (a hack on copyright) to work, which is derived from politically-created laws.

      @rcdrun @CarlosODonell @gnutools If you want to claim the political issues Stallman resigned over don't fall under the umbrella of the "basic human rights in computing" mentioned on that page, then fine, make that claim instead. But don't go arguing that GNU is apolitical, because that is entirely false.
