      @Al_Cantor Hm yeah you'd think the yard signs would deter them; at least when I've been canvassing for Bernie I just don't even bother with houses that have signs for opposing candidates up...

    @Al_Cantor ...maybe that's the problem though? i.e., the yard signs only scare off the timid canvassers like me, meaning that the campaign has to send more bold (& thus more argumentative) canvassers to the door instead to ensure that it gets knocked?
