@DharmicFundoo @BryanBoyKey @FriedrichPieter @NHYouthMovement @350NH_ACTION @RightsNH @CPDAction The equivalent of looking out the windowing and saying if it's really raining is looking at the event and saying that yes, the protest really did happen. The truth of the protestor's claims is a separate question from the truth of whether the protest happened or not.

@DharmicFundoo @BryanBoyKey @FriedrichPieter @NHYouthMovement @350NH_ACTION @RightsNH @CPDAction All I'm asking here is for journalists to take the same approach Wikipedia does with its policy on how to phrase POV statements. i.e., printing a lie is false and disallowed, but printing that "person x says lie y" is true and encouraged, if they really did make that claim.

@DharmicFundoo @BryanBoyKey @FriedrichPieter @NHYouthMovement @350NH_ACTION @RightsNH @CPDAction (although in the case from this thread at least, it really is in fact true that Mayor Pete takes money from fossil fuel executives, with the specific example of his #winecave fundraiser being notable in particular)
