      1. I'm still undecided in the #nhgov Dem primary, but this article has me leaning towards Feltes: wmur.com/article/volinsky-defends-representing-secondary-defendant-in-2015-wage-theft-case/31266377 It's not so much Volinsky's invoking of Feltes' wife that bothers me (as seems to be the case w/others), but rather the underlying facts of the case. #nhpolitics

Basically, I agree with the quotes from Joseph Donahue used in the article: "We don’t think [Volinsky]’s a bad guy… We didn’t know until recently he was involved in this case, and if you had asked me, I would have said, ‘No way would he take cases like that." #nhgov #nhpolitics

Donahue cont'd: “But I get it. [Volinsky]’s a defense attorney... Defense attorneys defend people. It’s just that if you’re also a public official and you’re running for office, maybe you choose your cases differently.”

The article follows that quote up by noting that Volinsky wasn't actually a public official running for office yet, but, I mean, c'mon. The timing between the case and his EC candidacy was so close that I don't blame Donahue for misremembering it.

Plus even if Volinsky hadn't actually officially announced that was running yet, he was probably still already planning it. What makes an official announcement of candidacy, anyways? I've talked about running for #nhleg again, but have I officially announced it yet? I can't say.

I mean, I've made posts about it, but I have no clue if they count as an "official announcement" or not... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
