...ok. So. Now that I've had my breather... well. Obviously I'm very upset and disappointed that Bernie dropped out. Like, yeah, it was coming, but... still. To have it happen like this... well, it's frustrating.

Oh well, at least I can say I'm not to blame. He won NH, and my ward of Concord had the highest vote total for him out of all of Concord's wards. So, I did what I could do for him and the movement, at least. I played my part.

as for what I'll do looking forward... well. There's a pandemic going on, so it's really hard to say... assuming there are still elections in November and Biden is still alive by then, I'll probably vote for him, but I can't see myself doing much else for him.

like, even if we didn't have a pandemic going on, I still don't think I'd want to go out and knock doors for him. Or go to any of his events. Or phone bank, or donate, or really do any of the other usual campaign activities I usually participate in

like, yeah, we need to beat Trump, but I just don't think I can convincingly make the case to anyone that Biden should be the one to do it. I don't want to go back to my 2016 experiences of trying to volunteer for Hillary again. I just didn't fit in there.

It's impossible to be an effective advocate for someone when your heart isn't fully in it. So, instead I'll focus on downballot races, especially here in my part of NH. Such as my own race that I'm planning on running. That's where I feel I can have more of an impact.
