      1. Sometimes I catch episodes of TV when I'm over visiting my parents, and that episode of "The Good Wife" where they have a slander/libel case against that "Howie Carr, but in Chicago" type guy was really a precursor to how Trump got elected

      Liberals will bend over backwards to prove how reasonable and fairminded they are to fascists, and the fascists will take advantage of that fact at every turn they get. It's how you get the NYT refusing to call Trump's lies lies.
