cooljeanius’s avatarcooljeanius’s Twitter Archive—№ 43,133

                1. Since I do most of my keeping track of people on Twitter by way of #TwitterLists these days, and since Twitter is now putting tweets from them into people's main feeds, I figured I'd do a short thread giving an overview of the lists I currently curate.

This list called #ExpandTheSquad is largely composed of follow recommendations from @NHCardona603: twitter.com/i/lists/1323464527762100224 If you know of a progressive candidate for office who considers themselves aligned with the AOC/Ilhan/Tlaib/Pressley "Squad", please ask me to add them!

This list called "Biden-Sanders Taskforces" is for the people who composed the taskforces that Bernie and Joe set up this last summer as a way of encouraging unity between the 2 campaigns: twitter.com/i/lists/1260609745372749824 I think I already got most of the people who were on it...

...although, I still am actually missing a few names, though: @cooljeanius/1260622196155854848

Please let me know if you know the handles for any of Ben Harris, Lee Saunders, Alejandro Adler, Maggie Thompson, Sherry Glied, Chris Jenning, or Javier Valdés! (The ones that were on a taskforce, that is) (also I left Juan Gonzalez off this time since I found him since before)

Here is my thread of "good bots": twitter.com/i/lists/1089297649105293312 I think bots tend to get a bad rap on this site, so I made this list to showcase some of the ones that I consider "good" (or at least interesting, or worth checking out occasionally)

Here is my list of #Miiverse people: twitter.com/i/lists/829549156695994368 I owe a lot of thanks to @Lahire99 for helping me find people to add to this one. It's supposed to be just for personal Miiverse connections, but there are some random unknowns that slipped on there, too.

This list called "NHDP associates" is supposed to be for people who have votes in @NHDems internal party affairs: twitter.com/i/lists/1326319930187329537 There's actually a much bigger list of names I was searching from, but I couldn't confirm which Twitter handles belonged to everyone...
    1. …in reply to @cooljeanius
...anyways, if you know of more handles of people involved with the NHDP, please let me know! Having as comprehensive a list as possible would be useful for trying to stay abreast of party affairs. cc @eschildge

This list is for people I either know, or have known, met, or talked to in the past IRL: twitter.com/i/lists/57673402 It's kinda politics-heavy since my IRL connections tend to be political people, but there's some random college classmates and fellow church members on there, too.
        1. …in reply to @cooljeanius
...anyways, if we have met in-person before and you're not on that list, please let me know and I'll add you!

My Quora list is kind of useless these days: twitter.com/i/lists/58183688 There used to be automated Twitter accounts that'd tweet every single question posted to every single subcategory in Quora, but it seems that they've all gone inactive now, & only the promotional accts're left
            1. …in reply to @cooljeanius
I could probably delete the Quora list if I cared enough to do so, but it's not really harming anything by sticking around, so it can stay...

This list is my list for people I knew from NeoGAF, whose userbase split in 2017 with most of them moving to ResetERA: twitter.com/i/lists/57673442 If you remember me from either of those forums but aren't on the list, let me know and I'll add you to it!

This is my list for accounts belonging to people who have died: twitter.com/i/lists/1143592469386412033 As you can see by looking at it, plenty of people apparently left the keys to their accounts to others, since many of them are still tweeting...

This is my list for accounts I have unfollowed previously: twitter.com/i/lists/973949904849723399 Mostly I just unfollow accounts for going inactive, so most of them on this list don't actually tweet much, but some of them do.

Note that I have my list of unfollowed accounts hidden from my main feed, as there are some bad accounts in it. Not all of them are bad, just the ones the Twitter algorithm feels like showing me most often if I do allow it into my feed.

New list! I just made a new #TwitterList of Erics and Ericas (and Ericks, and Eriks, and Erikas, and potentially Erickas and エリカs, too): twitter.com/i/lists/1338298718798426112 Feel free to send suggestions of people I might have forgotten!

Should I include people with the name "Aric" on my list of Erics and Ericas, too, or is that too different?

New list! I'm going to start keeping a #TwitterList of the accounts of people and organizations who have testified before my committee while I've been on it and present at its hearings: twitter.com/i/lists/1356423245092823042?s=20 Feel free to help me find handles I may have missed! #NHPolitics

Thinking of updating this list to include people testifying before my county delegation's committee, too, besides just the one for the entire House...

(ok so yeah I did that; previously the list was "MCA Testifiers" but now it's "Committee Testifiers")
