        @sopbeen @mattparlmer for example I place myself in the authleft quadrant, but as an authleft who'd prefer to get a winning coalition by allying w/the libleft, that makes me very different from an authleft who'd prefer to ally w/the authright, even if our own individual dots'd fall on the same coords

      @sopbeen @mattparlmer Another problem comes from the accuracy/precision distinction (or what counts as a "group" of arrows in archery): someone who is a centrist because all their positions are centrist is very different from someone whose positions are all extremist but in opposite directions...
