                                                              1. Session in Bedford again today; this week we'll mostly be voting to concur (or not) with amendments the Senate added to our bills after we sent them over previously. I'm expecting/hoping it'll go relatively quickly, as these are all bills we've already heard before. #NHPolitics

Any bills where there are still differences between the House and Senate versions after today will require committees of conference to get sorted out. We'll return on the 24th to round out any further unfinished business. #NHPolitics

HB195, one of those bad gun nut bills, is up next. Given that it already passed once I don't have much hope of killing it, but oh well, might as well try anyways...

All the bills coming out of Education are bad, so we'll be having division (or roll call) votes on all of these. HB69, the bill to violate the Establishment Clause, up first.

Thank you Rep. Woodcock for pointing out some problems with our state motto!

Also congrats to Rep. Woodcock on being able to get "ass" into a PI! (See it's allowed since Jesus literally rode into Jerusalem onto a donkey, a.k.a. an "ass")

Someone objected to a "print remarks" motion; I'll be voting to print them just because I liked Rep. Woodcock's part.

Opposing HB140 now; teachers aren't the ones we should be ending Qualified Immunity for, it should just be cops we remove it for instead.

Next is HB320, adding the redundant civics test requirement. Senate's amendment improves it by pushing back the date, but not enough, so I'll be voting against concurring.

ok so I mis-read; there's one bill from the Education committee we won't be objecting to: HB432. It goes by on voice vote.

Next batch of bills is from Election Law. HB77 goes by on voice vote, as does HB223.

Yeah these are going by kinda fast and unremarkably; I'm going to start skipping around, and only comment on stuff that's interesting.

I ran out of bandanas (since I haven't done laundry recently), so I'm wearing a mask with elastics that go around the ears for this duration for the first time, and those elastics are really starting to dig in...

bills from my committee now; these are mostly consent calendar bills, except for the stupid unnecessary lemonade stand bill, which we've decided isn't really worth fighting anymore, so we'll just concur with it and get it over with.

...and they're doing a roll call on this. So, I guess I'll oppose it again after all.

ok here's a disputed on: HB373. GOP wants to pass a gag rule preventing @NHDES from discussing low-carbon fuels. Senate made it worse. Dems will be voting against concurring.
