    1. This applies to many GOP interpretations of law. I had 1 idea for an LSR to clarify existing law to ensure a crazy GOP interpretation of it can’t be made, to which a drafting attorney was like, “That’s absurd, no one’d actually think that,” and, well, yes, you’d think that, but… @tribelaw/1440099646332932096

    …unfortunately many of these people with wild interpretations of existing law already hold power. Crazy ideas deserve to be taken seriously so long as people holding those ideas are actually making decisions based off those ideas that affect other people.
