    1. It's interesting to me how the seats that Wikipedia lists as the safest in its article on safe seats are mostly held by people who aren't that well-known for being extremely far to the right or the left in their respective parties...

    - in #PA03 I'd heard the name "Dwight Evans" before, but for some reason I thought it was a DC Councilperson rather than a Philly congressman... - Seeing Alabama having the safest R seat, I assumed it'd be Mo Brooks's, but nope, #AL04 is held by some "Robert Aderholt" guy instead

      - in #CA12 while Pelosi is well-known, she's actually not as far left as you'd expect for a seat as safely D as hers; hopefully her primary challengers have better luck next time - For #TN01 and #TN02, has anyone ever heard of Diana Harshbarger or Tim Burchett? No? I thought not.
