The Municipal & County Government committee will be having a hearing on Thursday, 1/13/22, in LOB room 301-303. I don’t have any bills of my own at this hearing, but it’s the committee upon which I sit. It overlaps with the Labor hearing I mentioned yesterday, so… idk…Permalink On twitter.com

Unfortunately, with the hearing approaching so soon, I’m not going to have time to draft and introduce an amendment to it like I’d wanted to, so @wmarshcc8 and I are going to have to decide how we want to proceed with it… (also why didn’t this go before the SciTech Committee?)Permalink On twitter.com

My hope is that, even if my #SOFTWAREAct doesn’t make it this term, hearing it first will at least soften people up a bit so Lex’s can pass, and then we can come back to mine later. Although, if BOTH our bills pass, well… I’m not sure what happens? They might conflict a bit…Permalink On twitter.com
