  1. Well this is interesting: looks like there’s an attempt to add a new COBOL frontend to @gnutools GCC: gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc/2022-March/238408.html (this is separate from the existing GnuCOBOL Cobol-to-C transpiler)
