      ...and postal banking advocates successfully opened my mind to the possibility that that's something they could do, so maybe it could work for other things, too? (Also note that "McConnell" is someone by the first name of "Porter", not "Mitch", btw)

    ah ok they got to the [lack of a] postal banking part just a few paragraphs later: "[S]ome items the bill could have added include postal banking, funds to make postal trucks electric with public charging stations, census outreach and grocery delivery."
