    @KlandriganUL I wouldn't say it was *entirely* a mercy killing; I do think we should do *something* about short-term rentals, but since a rumored amendment ended up not materializing, we needed to do some more work on it

      @KlandriganUL (also note that the 2 "no" votes wanted to ITL the bill entirely, so the 17 "yes" votes wanted to kill it less than the "no" votes)
