Merrimack County Delegation meeting today; these are usually relatively uneventful, but I'll livetweet anything interesting anyways. I'm here in person at the Old Courthouse on North Main Street in Concord. #NHPolitics
-
We seem to have gotten an in-person quorum more easily this time, so none of all that commotion we had to go through at the previous county delegation meeting...
-
Federal payments seem to be giving the county some additional breathing room budget-wise; that's good!
-
ok so that was technically the Executive Committee portion of the meeting; full delegation portion is starting now
-
ok so it looks like we will actually have some attendance disagreements this time, too, now that the full delegation meeting is starting
-
Rep. Alicea's house had gotten broken into while she was attending her grandson's commencement apparently
-
full Zoom attendance list: Reps. Alicea, Myler, Moffett, Mason, and McWilliams
-
these GOP reps voting to deny other reps attendance via Zoom after they've all already stated their reasons are really being heartless; good thing they're a minority...
-
vote is 24 to 4 (of those here) to allow the attendance of the Zoom members
-
motion on salary proposals now
-
salary projections approved 24-9
-
ok apparently that's all we were here for; adjourning now
