      Also a reminder that Taft-Hartley was passed over the veto of President Truman due to conservadems defecting to vote with the Republicans… if you think Manchin and Sinema are bad now, imagine a Congress with hundreds of them: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taft%E2%80%93Hartley_Act

    I actually asked Bernie about this in 2019 and he was actually kind of more moderate in his response than I was hoping; he just wanted to focus on removing the RTW parts of Taft-Hartley, rather than trying to go for the whole thing: @cooljeanius/1199145445827731456
