        Also: - Vote AND write letters to the editor - Vote AND perform acts of civil disobedience against unjust laws, as was done in the Civil Rights Movement (assuming you can afford to get arrested) - Vote AND file lawsuits you have standing to file

          - Vote AND file public comment with government agencies that accept it - Vote AND bird-dog candidates (ask them questions that get recorded on video) - Vote AND attend town meetings (if your towns have that form of government) - Vote AND contribute code to open-source software

            Also note that "vote" doesn't just mean in governmental elections; many other organizations also have democratic governance structures that you can vote in, too, for example: - your union - your political party - many religious denominations - DSA - other civic organizations
