      This isn’t to say to stop fighting for what’s right, but rather to ask people to stop waiting for the historians of the future to vindicate us. Fight for what’s right *now* rather than based on what the historians of the future will think.

        If history is written by the victors, then first we must win. This process of “write history first in advance, and then hope that winning proceeds from that” is backwards.
