    1. I first started using GCC due to Apple shipping it as the system compiler in older versions of macOS, but then the GPL3 released and they ditched it for clang, so now Microsoft has actually been contributing more to GCC lately than Apple has: gcc.gnu.org/pipermail/gcc-cvs/2022-July/369084.html

    Microsoft still has a ways to go before they catch up to the sheer number of old tags/branches/heads that Apple still has in the repository though:
    oh my god twitter doesn’t include alt text from images in their API
