@TheAliceSmith I mean... yes, & that's why capitalism is bad. People have inherent value & if a market would assign a value to a person that is insufficient for them to live on, that is a market failure. Everyone deserves a right to life & liberty regardless of how a market values their skills.

@TheAliceSmith Or, let me rephrase that second sentence: everyone is *entitled* to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, even the skilless, and if a market would take that away from someone, that market is ableist & should be abolished.
