Nice to see @MikeBordes leading in the GOP primary in Belknap 5; he was one of the few Republicans standing up against Free Stater extremism in the Belknap County Delegation this term (screenshot via WMUR) #NHPolitics
-
unfortunately they're only reporting results for contested races, so it looks like I won't find my own total on here...
-
I wish @WMUR9 would include the number of seats per district on their results page; multi-member districts always confuse me... cc @WMUR9_Politics @AdamSextonWMUR
-
hey wait a minute where's the race with @electamandanh and @ReneeMonteil on here? I'm not seeing their results...
-
My previous question about number of seats per district was primarily prompted by the Rockingham 10 D primary; I want all of @Ellen4NH @CharlotteDiLor3 and Michael Cahill to get back in (don't know the other 2)
-
Congrats to @marysullivanhea @amybradley75 and @JackieCinMHT on winning their primary in Hillsborough 41!
-
Update: I have since been informed that the Santonastaso whose loss I was celebrating earlier in this thread wasn't actually the Santonastaso I was thinking of; I'd delete it, but it's too late to do so now without breaking the thread...
-
...well, politics makes strange bedfellows, as they say...
-
anyways it's now after midnight, so I should probably be going to bed now; I need to be back on a semi-regular sleep schedule if I'm going to handle the rallies and session of Veto Day on Thursday...
-
ok time to get back to going over the results; I’m on desktop now where candidates have their full names displayed instead of just last names like on mobile, so I might be redoing some previous screenshots to get full names, and in case the numbers have changed at all…
-
.@Karenumbergerg1 is one of the last few GOP moderates left, so it’s good to see that she won her primary! Whoever the Dem is that she’ll be facing would still be better, though, to be clear.
-
Congrats to @mhp4nhrep on winning her renomination in Grafton 12 with the most votes in the field! A shame that @MilesforNH couldn’t make it in, too, though…
-
In Hillsborough 29, Joe Alexander is a member of the Bipartisan Housing Caucus with me, and an advisor to the @OfficialNHLYAC, so it’s good to see him returning (relatively speaking, compared to any other Republican, that is)… I seem to remember Fred Plett being bad, though.
-
Congrats to @deVries4NH on her victory in the Rockingham 40 Dem primary! On to beating… lol, she won’t even be facing Max Abramson in the general, since he lost in *his* primary! (it’s funny because I was mostly just paying attention to that race to see her beat Max…)
-
Wait, isn’t Strafford 10 actually 4 seats, not 3? I really hope @TimothyHorrigan will be back with us next term… (also sorry to see that @peyton_mcmanus won’t be joining us; I was hoping he’d get in, too…)
-
Ah, turns out Strafford 21 is actually 3 seats, and not 2 (as indicated in my previous screenshot of the race)… I mainly just wish that @natefordover had managed to pull ahead of Geoff Smith… (nothing against Geoff Smith, it’s just he’s the only one of the 4 I don’t know)
-
Summary of the Strafford 21 race: - Luz Bay is an up&coming star who’s spoken at NHDP events - Susan Treleaven is a member of my cmte, and while she might be more moderate than I’d like, I at least have a decent working relationship w/her - Nate Stewart is 1 of my DSA comrades
-
…so yeah, those would have been my 3 choices for that primary instead. I think that’s it for primary results I care to comment on for now; time to update my lists and stuff…
