      1. IMO we don’t need a complete ban on them, just a requirement that all software that’s used to run them be free-and-open-source, and be required to pass a regular review/audit by civilians for any potentials for bias/harm in their code: @petersterne/1645917197561380864

      (this is something I’ve included clauses about in some of my FOSS bills, btw, but I guess it’s getting to the point now where the topic might deserve its own separate bill…)
