                  oh right, can't believe I forgot this one: the Is/Ought Problem! Too often there are debates like "This isn't who we are" vs. "No, it actually is" when it should actually be "This *shouldn't be* who are": en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Is%E2%80%93ought_problem
