      While, yes, there's a general decline of local media, and not enough local reporters to cover everything that happens, one *particular* form of local journalism that we're direly missing is a local gossip columnist. Like a state-level @PageSix or @HeardontheHill or something.

    And, to be specific, I mean a *nonpartisan* one, so no, Michael Graham's right-wing propaganda outlet known as the New Hampshire Journal doesn't count. @ConMonitorNews's regular "Capital Beat" feature used to come close, but it was more just public hearings reporting...
